An initiative by The CHRISTIAN LAWYERS ASSOCIATION IN PAKISTAN - CLAP to provide pro bono legal assistance to the Persecuted, especially those facing false Blasphemy Charges in Pakistan. Center for Exodus, through its specialized team of Experts in Criminal Trial not only raises voice for but also practically struggles for the constitutional Right to Fair Trial in Blasphemy Cases under the project TRIAL MONITOR. Shirjeel Zafar, Attorney at Law, Patron in Chief of Christian Lawyers Association in Pakistan - CLAP is the Chair of Center for Exodus, Pakistan, a Criminal Trial Expert, leading the overall struggle against persecution in Pakistan.

Successful advocacy in a false Blasphemy Case:
The State Vs Muhammad Burhan Ali etc.
A young Muslim boy was falsely implicated in a Blasphemy Case. The father of accused Burhan approached the Director Legal Aid Ministry, Center for Exodus - CFE, for legal representation. Founder Chairman of CFE, Rev. Dr. Shirjeel Zafar Ghauri, Attorney at Law, took up the case and provided Free Legal Aid to the victim, as the Center for Exodus believes in non discrimination. Case FIR # 178/2022, U/S 11, PECA, 2016 r/w 295-A, 295-B, 295-C, 109 PPC, registered with FIA, Cyber Crime Wing, Lahore. Trial at Court of Sessions, Lahore.
